This Digital Dry Testing Technical Workshop focuses on the impact of wet testing in oil & gas operations.
During the technical workshop, the participants had the opportunity to share, discuss and exchange ideas regarding a very well-known issues in our industry, that is wet testing and the effects.
Wet testing has been known to be responsible for causing several integrity events, such as electrical sparks, water ingress power failures from wet deluge testing and saltwater getting into electrical enclosures. These events normally lead to platform shutdowns during wet testing execution. On a longer-term implications, wet testing increased corrosions that causes equipment damage, that leads to unplanned shutdowns to repair and change the damage equipment.
The participants also discussed on Dry Testing as the alternatives for wet testing and the benefits of it.
In conclusion, Eftech and PGTSSB are glad to organize this technical workshop, that became a fruitful platform in showing how the dry testing can become a game changer in our oil and gas industry.
